Why A Plan?

 
 
  • All workouts included in our plans are grounded in the latest scientific principles yet are wholly practical and straightforward to execute. All workouts come with a clear description of the underpinning science and physiological changes the particular session seeks to induce.

  • Our training plans offer great value for money over more “hands on” services like coaching, allowing you to stay in control of your day-to-day training, yet work with a pre-built, optimised program.

  • We provide detailed documentation with every plan to help you customise your plan to your specific schedule and overcome any problems you may run into (e.g. illness, lack of time, race date changes etc). This is something that’s often missing from other pre-built plans you may come across.

  • Our pre-build training plans have been used by 100s of cyclists and are proven at the highest level of competition, even by professional cyclists. We draw on years of collective coaching experience when designing our plans.

Our Team

 

Tom Bell

Tom is both an elite athlete and skilled performance consultant. He is a graduate from the University of Leeds, where he was captain of the cycling team and won the British Universities & Colleges Sport MTB championships whilst there. Post-study, Tom has won national championship titles and stood atop numerous national and international UCI podiums. He has advised 100s of athletes from over 25 different countries (including both professional and amateur-level cyclists) and offered his expertise in training and physiology to numerous reputable companies such as BikeRadar, Zwift and Active.com.

 

Dr Emma Wilkins

Emma has extensive experience coaching athletes across a range of ability levels and disciplines. She has a strong scientific and quantitative background, which she applies to her coaching practice, holding a PhD in population health modelling, a Masters’ Degree in sports nutrition and physiology, and an undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Oxford. She is a qualified sports nutritionist, and trained in anthropometry (the measurement of body composition). Emma loves analysing training data and staying on top of the scientific literature to identify novel insights and training approaches.
