Taper Plans

  • Medium-Length Races

    A two-week taper plan for medium-length disciplines (~30-mins to 2.5-hours), such as shorter road races, crits, XCO and CX.

    The plan includes two versions of the final week, to accommodate both Saturday and Sunday races.

  • Longer-Races

    A two-week taper for longer races lasting between roughly 2.5-6 hours, including gran fondos, sportives, gravel races, and MTB marathon races.

    The plan includes two versions of the final week to accommodate both Saturday and Sunday races.

  • Stage Races

    A two-week taper for stage races, including road, gravel and MTB events.

    The plan includes three versions of the final week to accommodate 2, 3 and 4-day stage races.
